The person behind Computantis
Rumyana Peneva-Valacheva is the accounting professional behind Computantis, bringing 30 years of experience in accounting, finance and business administration.
She began her accounting career in Bulgaria in 1996 and established her independent accounting practice in 1997. Her professional background also includes five years as Chief Accountant of a regional branch of a Bulgarian state-owned enterprise.
Since 2022, she has also worked in the Czech Republic, including in Chief Accountant roles within Czech companies. In 2025, she expanded her activities to include independent accounting services as a registered self-employed professional (OSVČ) in the Czech Republic.
This combination of long-standing experience in Bulgaria and direct professional practice in the Czech accounting environment forms the foundation of Computantis.

Education and professional expertise
Rumyana holds two Master's degrees, in Finance and Accounting, awarded in Bulgaria.
Her university qualifications have been formally recognised in the Czech Republic by Masaryk University in Brno.
Her professional expertise includes financial and management accounting, costing and cost determination, financial reporting and analysis, payroll and social insurance administration, and the financial and administrative processes involved in running a business.
We see accounting as more than a matter of regulatory compliance. It is also an essential tool for understanding business performance, managing costs and making informed decisions.
